How You’ll Make an Impact as a Sr. Manager International Tax The purpose of the Senior Manager, International Tax is to manage the U.S. international tax compliance outsourcing engagement and Global Minimum Tax compliance outsourcing engagement, support Form 1042 filing, support U.S. international tax planning and repatriation transactions, assist with the U.S. GAAP reporting aspects of U.S. international tax items and support Global Transfer Pricing documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support external advisors responsible for completion of non-U.S. international forms 5471, 8858, 5713, 1118 using OneSource Tax Compliance software as well as prepare and/or review statements and disclosures required for the non-U.S. operations.
  • Support Global Minimum Tax compliance (Pillar Two) filing with assistance of external advisors.
  • Support Form 1042 filing.
  • Review the US GAAP reporting aspects of U.S. International tax (e.g. Foreign Tax Credit, APB23, GILTI, FDII)
  • Assist with the global review of quarterly/annual tax provision packages under ASC 740 using OneSource Tax Provision software
  • Support other international tax-related projects including internal consulting for acquisitions, cash repatriation and audit support
  • Manage and develop two Senior Tax Accountants
  • Manage and develop Global Tax team’s knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts
  • Support development of Global Tax team’s strategy as identified by tax leadership team.
  • Manage staff in meeting specified goals and objectives of department.
  • Recommend and implement programs/practices which fit company goals and culture. Able to propose strategic recommendations for the most complex areas of function.
  • Actively engaged with Director, International Tax & Transfer Pricing on income tax compliance, accounting, planning and controversy matters
  • Develop, own and execute project work plans involving internal and external stakeholders, which require strong communication skills, acute problem-solving, ability to quickly adapt, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Enable Global Tax as an effective business partner with Global operations by communicating frequently with U.S. and International Accounting teams and certain non-U.S. Countries
  • Interact with external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews on international tax accounting matters.
  • Cross-functional and cross-jurisdictional communication and collaboration to advance strategy and goals
  • Quarterly and annual tax reporting responsibilities which are impacted by day-to-day projects and decisions
