This role spearheads the intelligent automation practice, leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Data & Analytics, and Technology to deliver performance efficiencies. The Senior Manager will establish the foundation and governance for Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) to maximize return on investment, reduce costs, mitigate risks, streamline processes, and improve the customer experience. This involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand and challenge current processes, develop solutions, identify opportunities for intelligent automation, craft business and technical requirements, define scope, mitigate risks, and lead projects. The role also entails fostering a culture aligned with BMO's purpose, values, and strategy, promoting diversity and inclusion, and building interdependent teams. Key responsibilities include preparing business cases, partnering with Technology and business teams to define project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines, and providing thought leadership. The Senior Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of robotic solutions, translate business processes into strategic smart process solutions, and build high-quality, maintainable robotics solutions. They will also work with platform vendors to influence product roadmaps, foster relationships with stakeholders to evolve IPA standards, define analytics requirements, and educate business stakeholders on smart automation initiatives. The position involves leading change management programs, developing communication strategies, refining project intake and delivery methodologies, and identifying process improvements. Furthermore, the Senior Manager will evaluate IPA strategy, conduct research on emerging technologies, document enterprise standards, collaborate with Technology on infrastructure needs, create proof of concepts (POCs), and develop IPA strategy, governance, and control frameworks. They will lead and manage all phases of the IPA project lifecycle, ensure project adherence to established processes and standards, establish project management rigor, and manage delivery to agreed-upon milestones and sprints.
