About The Position

The purpose of this job is to develop, execute and report against the solutions marketing strategy for the specific practice and related partners the job aligns to (that do not have a dedicated partner marketing manager and priority Go To Market (GTM) Strategies of the Global Engineering & Services Team and Sales organizations to drive increased growth and revenue and to guide any direct reports in doing so as well and to guide direct reports to do so as well. The Sr. Manager, Solutions Marketing, is part of the Solutions Marketing team, which is part of the Marketing, Proposals & Global Alliances department, and reports through the VPs of the department, who then reports to the President, responsible for global Sales & Sales Operations of WWT. The Sr. Manager, Solutions Marketing works closely with teammates and internal partners across Corporate Marketing, Creative Services, Digital Marketing, Analytics and Sales/Marketing, as well as with the Global Engineering & Services Team, Sales, Global Alliances and Executive Leadership. This job supports the development of solutions marketing strategy and execution for the specific practice and related partners the job aligns to and priority GTMs of the Global Engineering and Services Team and Sales, as well as those of the manager's direct reports. This position reports to the Director, Solutions Marketing.

Requirements

  • B.A. Marketing, Business or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • 10-15 years of Marketing experience with demonstrated success in developing strategies in the direct, indirect, digital, field and account-base marketing programs 
  • Management experience required
  • Proficient computer skills (PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce, Marketing Platforms, and other key technologies)
  • Project management experience with ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Must be a team player and self-motivated
  • Ability to drive a project through to completion effectively and comprehensively, and to work with limited supervision in defining initial goals and addressing complex issues as they arise
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Intimately understands Sales Vertical business priorities and builds an annual marketing that meets customer satisfaction and acquisition metrics
  • Oversees 4 Marketing Managers that coordinate and produce an Integrated Marketing Plan inclusive of events, Out of Home, Geo Targeting, Executive Engagement.
  • Utilizes research, data, and insights to inform the selection of, and strategy for, all events and sponsorships, in alignment with the vision set by Sales and Marketing Leadership teams: Event examples include local/regional trade shows, hyper-local customer appreciation events, networking events and large receptions, thought leadership seminars, owned event series, etc.
  • Leads the creative process, concepting world-class event experiences that may be executed by a cross-functional team and, occasionally, agency partners
  • Works horizontally with Marketing peers to influence messaging and articulate World Wide Technology’s capabilities, differentiating value, and key benefits for the Vertical
  • Creates experiences that engage with customers every step of their journey: pre, during and post event, deepening consideration and intent at every stage: Additional multi-channel touchpoints, developed in partnership with Marketing peers, may include digital advertising, website content, email campaigns, OOH, PR, event signage/collateral, social posts, community engagement, lead acquisition, etc.
  • Creates structure and processes to operationalize event production and ensure flawless execution
  • Develops, or oversees the development of, marketing materials (invites, landing pages, sales collateral)
  • Manages marketing dashboard and sets, tracks, and analyzes events with regular qualitative and quantitative-driven check-ins with leadership. Then uses these results to inform future strategies or attendance
  • Develops and manages relationships with key sales and other marketing stakeholders that are internal clients of the Sales Marketing Team. This may include Sales leadership, Services leadership, Engineering leadership, and other key executives
  • Builds strong relationship with and collaborate with OEMs for the purpose of obtaining funding for campaigns.
  • Maintains a keen understanding of industry trends and uses the trends to make strategic recommendations
  • Develops budgets, forecasts and reports out on budgetary matters
  • Communicates effectively with cross functional teams across company
  • Tracks and helps drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
  • Provides Onsite management of sales activities and events
  • Direct agencies and ensure flawless execution
  • Manages priorities assignments, hiring, compensation, reviews, and other employee-related activities
