We are looking for a hands-on engineering leader in the backend infrastructure space to further the development of our high performance cloud-based simulations and rendering capabilities
Requirements
- B.Sc, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Math/Physics/Statistics or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 12+ overall years of validated experience with 5+ years of management
- Strong Rust, Python, or C++ skills (best if we can see your GitHub)
- Experience with large scale storage systems and/or networking
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud native computing, and infrastructure-as-code
- Self-starter with strong sense of end-to-end ownership
- Able to work independently in ambiguous environment
- A shown sense of software architecture
- Outstanding teammate and collaborator

Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of senior engineers
- Build, develop, deploy, optimize, and document backend infrastructure features.
- Ensure a high level of architectural quality, performance in the developed code and features
- Debugging and fixing deficiencies
- Support members of other teams / clients as they adopt the technology developed
- Support the technology on multiple hardware platforms
- Partnering and collaborating with peers and managers
