About The Position
The Senior Manager II, Supply Chain Management – Automation is a technology-forward leadership role responsible for driving the strategic execution and continuous improvement of automated supply chain operations across the network. This position leads automation managers and trainers, oversees implementation of new technologies, and ensures operational excellence through data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and strong project management.This leader plays a key role in advancing supply chain automation within the transportation and distribution ecosystem, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring seamless merchandise flow from suppliers to distribution centers and stores. You will make an impact by… Overseeing automation managers and trainers, ensuring consistency in training quality, operational execution, and performance. Providing coaching, mentorship, and leadership development to enhance team capability and readiness for emerging technologies. Supporting weekend operational teams when traveling or as needed, ensuring ongoing continuity across automated processes. Managing end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficient merchandise flow through distribution and fulfillment networks. Monitoring shipping, receiving, inventory, and return-related exceptions; conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Analyzing operational data from multiple stakeholders to drive continuous improvements and network efficiencies. Leading technology-driven initiatives focused on automation innovation within supply chain transportation. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
- 2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing to travel 90% of the time.
- You have strong leadership and influencing skills with experience guiding large teams.
- You have excellent facilitation and cross-functional training capabilities.
- You have proven project management expertise with the ability to manage large-scale automation initiatives.
- You are highly analytical; able to evaluate data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- You are an effective communicator who can present complex information to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- You have a technology-driven mindset with a passion for advancing automation in supply chain operations.
