About The Position

This is where your work makes a difference. At Baxter, we believe every person—regardless of who they are or where they are from—deserves a chance to live a healthy life. It was our founding belief in 1931 and continues to be our guiding principle. We are redefining healthcare delivery to make a greater impact today, tomorrow, and beyond. Our Baxter colleagues are united by our Mission to Save and Sustain Lives. Together, our community is driven by a culture of courage, trust, and collaboration. Every individual is empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact. We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results. Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. Your Role at Baxter As Baxter elevates global mobility as a strategic priority, this role offers the rare opportunity to shape how talent moves across a global organization. The Senior Manager, Global Mobility serves as the company’s mobility lead — owning strategy, advising HR and business leaders, and driving programs that directly support Baxter’s transformation. You’ll have the autonomy to modernize policies, streamline processes, and influence how mobility supports business growth, rotational programs, and international assignments. With visibility across HR, Total Rewards, Finance, and senior leadership, this role is ideal for someone who wants to deepen their expertise in mobility long‑term and build programs that have lasting organizational impact. This position also offers significant scope and variety. Roughly 70% of the work centers on global mobility — international transfers, short‑term assignments, commuter arrangements, compensation proposals, vendor oversight, dashboards, and employee experience. The remaining 30% focuses on U.S. immigration strategy, partnering with external counsel and guiding leaders through complex cases. You’ll lead initiatives such as refining mobility policies, building dashboards and KPIs, enhancing onboarding for international hires, and training HR and business partners. With a supportive leader, a respected HR function, strong cross‑functional relationships, and a hybrid schedule that offers flexibility, this role provides both stability and the chance to leave a meaningful mark on Baxter’s global mobility strategy. This is a hybrid position based out of Deerfield, IL.
