About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Senior EHS Manager in the Collegeville / King of Prussia, PA area that will lead risk reduction, help to develop policies, ensure regulatory adherence (OSHA/EPA), and mentor safety teams to improve performance. Key tasks include incident investigation, auditing, training, and implementing sustainability initiatives. A driver of environmental, health, and safety strategy, compliance, and culture across a site or organization. What You'll Do Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, manage, and mentor EHS professionals; select talent to build team capabilities. Risk Mitigation & Safety Culture: Drive a proactive safety culture through risk assessments, hazard identification, and behavior-based safety initiatives. Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement site-level EHS programs, policies, and procedures ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Environmental & Sustainability: Monitor permit requirements, pollution control, waste management, and support sustainability goals. Incident Management: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for accidents, manage corrective actions, and oversee workers' compensation cases. Reporting & Auditing: Perform audits, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on EHS performance to senior management.

Requirements

  • Several years of progressive experience in EHS, usually with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or complex operational environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, budgetary competence, regulatory knowledge (OSHA, EPA), and root cause analysis skills.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or similar.
  • Industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and emergency response management.
  • Vendor Management / Oversight and reporting
  • Six Sigma/Lean methodologies for process improvement.
  • Project management for EHS capital projects.
