About The Position

The Growth Governance Sr. Manager is an individual contributor responsible for supporting the governance, oversight, and strategic alignment of growth (M&A) initiatives within Marriott’s transformation program. Reporting to the Growth Governance Sr. Director, this role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure M&A projects adhere to established governance frameworks, standards, and best practices. The Sr. Manager provides subject matter expertise, supports risk management, and drives process improvement to enable disciplined, scalable growth. Success in this role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years in project governance, compliance, project management, consulting or related roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Prior experience supporting large-scale transformation or M&A initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing executive presentations and decision materials.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of governance frameworks for M&A initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance with standards, policies, and best practices across growth projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability for governance requirements.
  • Identify and assess risks, support mitigation planning, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present governance updates, reports, and executive materials for leadership and steering committees.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and forums to address governance issues and drive resolution.
  • Contribute to change management activities, including communications and training related to governance processes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve governance processes and support disciplined, scalable growth.
