We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager, Global Tax to join our Corporate Finance Team. As Senior Tax Manager you will play a critical part in managing the company’s global income tax accounting processes, including interim and year-end income tax provisions under ASC 740. You will be responsible for financial statement presentation, footnote disclosures, related tax account reconciliations and journal entries, while helping to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of the global tax accounting process. You will also involve managing and mentoring members of a global team and partnering closely with internal accounting and finance teams, external auditors and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in tax accounting and compliance, including a mix of public accounting and multinational corporate experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of ASC 740, including deferred taxes, valuation allowances, FIN 48/UTP, and APB 23.
  • Hands-on experience with OneSource Tax Provision (or comparable tax provision software); system administration experience a plus.
  • Strong experience working within ERP environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and understanding tax-sensitive financial data flows.
  • Experience with multinational corporate income tax compliance and coordination with internal and external compliance teams.
  • Experience working with external auditors and tax service providers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage the global income tax provision on a quarterly and annual basis, including:
  • Effective tax rate analysis and forecasting
  • Current and deferred tax calculations
  • FIN 48 / Uncertain Tax Positions (UTP) analysis and documentation
  • APB 23 indefinite reinvestment assertions and related analysis
  • Taxes payable, return-to-provision true-ups
  • Tax account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation
  • Own and administer the company’s tax provision process within OneSource Tax Provision, including system configuration, data validation, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
  • Coordinate, review, and consolidate quarterly and annual tax reporting packages from international operations; liaise with regional tax managers to ensure consistent application of tax accounting policies, assumptions, and methodologies across jurisdictions.
  • Partner closely with Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate income tax footnote disclosures, roll forwards, rate reconciliations, and balance sheet presentation.
  • Support income tax budgeting and forecasting processes, including quarterly global cash tax forecasts.
  • Maintain and improve tax accounting internal controls and documentation to support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
  • Assist with tax planning initiatives to help optimize the company’s global tax position and manage tax risk.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess potential impacts on the company, escalating issues and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Provide tax support for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including transaction modeling, purchase accounting support, tax elections, and integration activities.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, legal, and business teams to support tax-related matters and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, including provision reviews and audits.
