About The Position

Evotec is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Senior Manager, Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join its Global FP&A organization, based at its Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, with additional locations in Abingdon or Alderley Park, UK. This highly visible role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, FP&A, and will lead the Global FP&A operational framework, ensuring excellence in financial planning, reporting, and performance management across the Evotec Group. The Senior Manager will drive global reporting consistency, enhance analytical capabilities, and optimize FP&A processes and tools to enable strategic decision-making at the executive level. This position will lead FP&A operations and governance globally (without direct personnel responsibility), coordinating closely with regional and business area finance teams. Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive professional experience in FP&A, preferably within a global organization or public company in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of leading FP&A processes and projects with global scope, ideally with exposure to complex multi-entity environments.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, planning systems, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior executives and non-financial stakeholders effectively.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Lead global FP&A operations, ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate management reporting across the Group.
  • Drive continuous optimization of the Group’s financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic insight.
  • Coordinate and consolidate annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans across business areas and entities to deliver a unified global P&L view.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain advanced financial and scenario models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Oversee the global internal reporting framework, ensuring alignment with business needs, executive requirements, and investor-grade standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Business Controlling, Business Area Finance, and Accounting to ensure consistent data integrity, alignment, and financial insight.
  • Provide strategic analyses and insights to the Executive Committee and senior management to support decision-making on business performance, investments, and resource allocation.
  • Champion continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization within the FP&A function, including reporting automation and data visualization enhancements.
