Global QEHSS Learning Strategy Leader You can be based in: Europe Remote or Hybrid position depending on your countries agreed working arrangements We are seeking a senior leader for our global Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (QEHSS) learning strategy. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to make a lasting impact on a global scale. This role offers the opportunity to transform our learning ecosystem through innovative digital solutions whilst cultivating a world-class safety culture across our international operations. Our ideal candidate will have substantial experience in organisational development, digital transformation, and strategic leadership - ideally with a background in EHS. Our EHS programmes focus on: Environmental: Protecting the environment, managing environmental impacts, compliance with environmental regulations Health: Occupational health, employee wellbeing, workplace health hazards Safety: Workplace safety, accident prevention, safety protocols and procedures You will be responsible for developing and implementing learning strategies and training programmes that ensure employees across Veolia's global operations understand and comply with environmental regulations, maintain workplace safety standards, and protect their health while performing their duties. The role specifically focuses on the learning and training management aspects, rather than direct operational responsibility for these areas, and course content will be created by your team. As the Global QEHSS Learning Strategy Leader, you will provide strategic direction for our worldwide learning operations, encompassing team leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional partnerships. You will drive cultural and organisational change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of EHS practices across all territories. Your role will involve leading strategic partnerships with C-suite stakeholders across HR, IT, and QEHSS functions, whilst overseeing the development of our global learning team into a high-performance support organisation. You will ensure the success of critical learning systems transformation initiatives, including learning management system (LMS) migrations and the transition to advanced reporting environments such as PowerBI. Additionally, you will lead the learning roadmap to achieve EHS learning excellence, expanding our methodologies to incorporate emerging technologies including virtual reality and other innovative solutions that position Veolia at the forefront of safety and environmental learning.
