Requirements

Proven expertise in automation engineering, project management, process optimization and system integration.
Strong operational and financial acumen, including cost optimization and forecasting.
Advanced data analytics and visualization skills using Power BI, SAP, and QuickBase.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-million-dollar projects.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and actionable plans.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 4 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.
6 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic automation initiatives across fleet operations, maintenance, and procurement—from concept to deployment.
Develop and implement dashboards and analytics tools (Power BI, SAP, QuickBase) to monitor KPIs and guide decisions across Walmart Transportation.
Oversee equipment lifecycle management, including lease planning, surplus reduction, and tariff mitigation.
Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Safety, Procurement) and external vendors to align automation goals with operational needs.
Guide system transformation projects ensuring alignment with Walmart’s workflows and data architecture.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and internal safety standards through automation and predictive maintenance systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
