About The Position

The Senior Finance Manager is a high-impact strategic leader within the Communications & Spectrum Dominance (CSD) segment FP&A team. This role is responsible for directing the financial execution of the LHXellence initiative while overseeing the segment’s complex data architecture and executive reporting. You will influence cross-functional teams to automate enterprise-level reporting via Oracle Planning and Power BI, optimize departmental budgets, and drive large-scale process improvements across the organization. You will manage a team of analysts, fostering a culture of technical and financial excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 12 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 10 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of direct people management experience in a finance or accounting function.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a professional finance position.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical mastery in Oracle EPM/Planning and Power BI.
  • Expertise in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing high-level individual contributors and developing entry-level talent.
  • Superior ability to "operate in the grey" and influence executive stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the CSDPLAN Oracle Planning instance. Directs the strategy for integrating additional sectors and divisions into the segment environment and ensure "source of truth" integrity for all forecasts and actuals.
  • Direct supervision of a diverse team of 2 analysts. Responsible for workload prioritization, professional development, and ensuring the team delivers excellent financial support across the segment.
  • Serve as the primary Finance lead for the LHXellence initiative. Partner with CHQ and internal stakeholders to validate savings projections and align short/long-term forecasts. Act as the executive administrator for the MS Project Online system.
  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the Segment VP of Operations. Direct the segment-wide departmental budgeting, resource planning, and headcount forecasting processes to ensure alignment with corporate financial targets.
  • Lead the roadmap for Power BI dashboard development, ensuring operations metrics and sector/segment financials provide the real-time visibility required for executive-level decision-making.
