About The Position

Position Summary... The Senior Manager, Finance plays a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and risk mitigation to support business performance and strategic decision-making. This position leads complex financial modeling, monitors control structures, and collaborates cross-functionally to enhance reporting transparency and operational efficiency. The role also involves guiding teams, fostering development, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards. By delivering insightful financial insights and managing multiple business initiatives, the Senior Manager contributes to achieving organizational goals while promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and integrity. About the team: The End-to-End Financial Planning & Analysis (E2E FP&A) team drives forecasting and planning for Walmart U.S. operations. This team leads consolidation and reporting, delivering actionable insights that support business growth and operational alignment. Collaborating across departments, the team ensures accurate financial planning and analysis to enable informed decision-making. By leveraging expertise in financial strategy, modeling, and forecasting, the team aligns financial goals with corporate objectives, advancing Walmart’s operational and strategic priorities while supporting effective communication and risk mitigation throughout the organization.

Requirements

Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling to support business performance and expense management.
Proven ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks through effective process development and monitoring.
Strong communication skills to present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management clearly and confidently.
Expertise in driving business plans, removing obstacles, and adapting strategies to meet operational and customer needs.
Commitment to integrity, compliance, and ethical standards in all financial and business activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend future expense targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor business performance and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Manage control structures to mitigate risks of financial misstatements and enhance transparency of financial systems.
Develop and present complex financial models and business cases to senior management, communicating forecasts and variances.
Lead execution of business plans by identifying priorities, removing obstacles, and adjusting performance to meet objectives.
Promote adherence to company policies, ethics, and compliance standards.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
