About The Position

The Gross to Net Team, part of the US Therapeutics Pricing organization manages sales reporting of ~$70 billion rebates/discounts and ~$44 billion annual net sales. Quarterly reserve reconciliation of ~$16 billion in rebates and contra-receivable balances. Responsible for related systems/systems issues surrounding sales reporting and reserve reconciliation and analysis. The Finance Sr Manager position will be responsible for supporting internal and external auditor inquiries, assisting with Balance Sheet forecasts (LBE/PLAN) and actuals analyses, and completing the Copay/Vouchers rebates (base reserve/pipeline) impacting gross-to-net. This position reports to the Director, GTN Pricing US Therapeutics.

Requirements

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in pricing, forecasting, and/or accounting is required.
  • Must have strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, along with good interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels of management.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical and content skills.
  • Ability to understand data management and reporting with a basic awareness of the possible technology platforms and solutions that can be leveraged.
  • Ability to synthesize, critically analyze, efficiently communicate large volume of information, develop identify risks, recommendations and implement solutions is required.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to consistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communication, excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage workload to meet critical deadlines under challenging time constraints.
  • Ability to make decisions without full data set or with ambiguity and uncertainty.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
  • Blackline and Kernel systems experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the quarterly process of reviewing sales reserve reconciliations and analysis of ~$16 billion in rebate reserves focusing on Copay/ Vouchers but not limited to.
  • Perform quarterly reconciliations for Copay prepaids.
  • Review journal entries and ensure timely Blackline approvals.
  • Collaborate with Price Forecasting monthly; analyze variances and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Lead or support internal and external quarterly and annual audits and reviews. Key controls are related to Immunology coupon prepaids and pipeline accruals.
  • Responsible for Purchase Orders tracking in partnership with the Copay COE team.
  • Assist on direct debit vendors (IQVIA & Relay).
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation, including IPE (Information Provided by Entity) shared with auditors.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop one direct report.
  • Operate independently and proactively, engaging with finance leadership to support organizational goals.
  • Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert on Gross-to-Net Balance Sheet topics; deliver training and guidance to business partners as needed.
  • Drive and advocate for process improvements and organizational change initiatives.
