About The Position

The company is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative Senior Manager, Facilities & Engineering for its Hopewell, NJ location. This role is pivotal in steering the Engineering Team to successfully complete biomanufacturer plant projects, with a primary focus on the BeiGene Hopewell project, which involves the re-assembly of DS/DP Module facilities (Morimatsu/Pharmadule) and future extensions. The Senior Manager will be responsible for designing and coordinating utility systems (Clean/Dirty, Steam, Power distribution), maintaining and calibrating process equipment, and performing HVAC design and maintenance. The position also involves identifying and addressing engineering capability gaps, ensuring facility compliance and operational readiness, and managing third-party contractors to achieve project objectives on schedule and with high quality. A key aspect of this role is leading all modular-related facility, utility, and maintenance activities from the project phase (transportation, logistics, modular setting) through long-term maintenance of the Modular Production facilities for DS/DP. Additionally, the role encompasses managing the assets of various company facilities, including administrative, QA/QC, warehouse, process development, and GMP manufacturing facilities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Mechanical, Structural, or Chemical engineering, or a related discipline
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field
• Experience in Modular Production Facilities such as Pharmadule/Morimatsu, Key Plants and/or G-Con
• Technical Experience in Construction and facility management including utility and pharmaceutical production facilities
• Experience in Full Cycle Module facility design, fabrication, & site assembly

Responsibilities

• Steer the Engineering Team to complete biomanufacturer plant projects (Site re-assembly for DS/DP Module facility Morimatsu/Pharmadule) with current focus on successful completion of BeiGene Hopewell project
• Support the BeiGene Hopewell project current phase construction & future extension
• Design Utility (Clean/Dirty systems), Steam systems, Power distribution and coordinate module / stick built building utility operation
• Maintenance and calibration of Process Equipment
• Perform HVAC design and maintenance
• Identify capability engineering gaps and develop solutions to meet the business need
• Focus on enabling HPW DS/DP facility compliance and operational readiness
• Manage 3rd party contractors to achieved DS/DP module facility and engineering objectives with high quality and on schedule
• Lead all Modular related Facility, Utility and Maintenance from Project Phase (Transportation/ Logistics/Modular Setting)
• Responsible for successful project assembly to long term maintenance of the Modular Production facilities for DS/DP
• Manage the assets of buildings & facility, including administrative, QA/QC, warehouse, process development and GMP manufacturing facilities
