About The Position

WD is currently looking for a savvy and skilled executive communications expert to join our Strategic Communications team. As Senior Manager, Executive Communications, you’ll be a key collaborator responsible for building and leading executive level messaging platforms that reach employees, customers, media, analysts, investors, and industry influencers. This role will be responsible for providing executive communications support for the CEO, and other members of WD’s Executive Leadership Team, as required. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and have a proven track record of managing executive-level communications at the C-Suite level. This role involves crafting compelling messages, coordinating communication strategies, and ensuring consistent and effective communication both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Deep executive communications experience supporting an SVP or above, at the C-Suite Level
  • Excellent content development and writing skills, with specific focus on executive presentations, blog posts, video, and messaging
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and executive presence
  • Strong ability to translate complex topics into easy to digest storylines
  • Experienced in modern communications strategies, with a solid understanding of visual storytelling
  • Social media savvy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging messages for diverse audiences
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, project management, and organizational skills
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with multiple stakeholders and across different levels of the organization
  • Curious, flexible and the ability to think creatively
  • Effective team player, whilst also being able to work independently
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Willingness to take risks
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and can thrive under pressure
  • Someone who has a sense of humor

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of CEO communications strategy, engaging stakeholders within the Communications team and across the company
  • Support CEO’s speaking opportunities, including coordination of logistics and management of content
  • Manage CEO’s profile across social platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Develop talking points and content for internal engagements, including company meetings
  • Write scripts for internal and external CEO Designate videos
  • Work closely with CEO’s office and stakeholders across the company to update CEO’s briefing materials, and to coordinate and finalize content needed for travel to regional events, and country office appearances
  • Collaborate with Public Relations and Analyst Relations teams on media and industry analyst engagements, as needed
  • Analyze effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes
