We’re looking for strong Manager/Sr. Manager-level consultants to lead procurement and supply chain consulting teams, with deep expertise in procurement and supply chain transformation across EPC and capital-intensive environments. This role is primarily client-facing consulting delivery, but will also include elements of solution design, business development, and account growth, supporting strategic engagements across Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Generation, and enterprise indirect spend. The ideal candidate brings strong domain credibility, a consulting mindset, a passion for shaping high-impact solutions, and the ability to drive alignment across finance, legal, engineering, and procurement. They need to be comfortable leading workstreams independently, structuring deliverables, and owning client communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (business/ finance/ economics/ engineering/ mathematics) or equivalent. MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years in consulting, procurement, and/or operations; ideally with E&U, Oil & Gas, or industrial capital project exposure.
  • Proven experience managing client-facing initiatives and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Strong process improvement and change management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team
  • Comfortable working at client sites, engaging stakeholders across multiple levels in person.
  • Must be able to travel frequently (up to 80%; varies greatly by client)
  • High degree of motivation; ability to prioritize and self-direct
  • Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation.
  • Credible E&U domain expert who can engage confidently with director-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement and supply chain consulting engagements for E&U clients, including EPC and capital projects.
  • Advise clients on procurement transformation, category strategies, sourcing optimization, and operating model design.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, ensuring measurable business outcomes and long-term value realization.
  • Design and orchestrate executive-level presentations: create the master storyline for client deliverables with persuasive and insightful narratives tailored to an executive audience.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and industry discussions to strengthen GEP’s E&U market positioning.
  • Senior Managers manage multiple workstreams and consulting teams, and contribute significantly to the marketing and business development process.
