The Senior Manager, Data Quality & Governance is responsible for establishing, leading, and sustaining Liberty’s enterprise data governance and data quality framework to ensure data is accurate, trusted, secure, and fit for regulatory, operational, and strategic use. The role delivers enterprise-wide standards, policies, controls, and stewardship models that enable reliable reporting, regulatory compliance, and data‑driven decision-making across Corporate & Shared Services and Liberty’s regulated utility operations. Success in the role is measured by improved data maturity, reduced data risk, and consistent adoption of governance practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field of study
  • 10+ years experience, 5 of which in management, leading teams and/or projects
  • Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments preferred
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business and risk-based outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and stewardship models
  • Establish governance operating model and councils
  • Design and oversee enterprise data quality rules, metrics, monitoring, and remediation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Direct classification and protection of sensitive data (PII, PHI, confidential business data); ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements
  • Lead and develop data governance and quality professionals
  • Influence cross‑functional leaders to adopt standards and controls
