The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and responsive team player who is able to multi-task and has excellent analytic skills. Our work is highly collaborative and involves close coordination and excellent communication with our clients, market data vendors and key business and technology partners across Fidelity. The Senior Manager will manage the planning processes and resource allocation within the team. Will oversee the daily workload distribution to ensure core helpdesk and project assignments are equitable, challenging, and are completed in an accurate and timely manner. The Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that service level agreements are met and that all Help Desk support activities are completed as well as, oversight of specific data processes, and the execution of manual reporting and other validation activities. Partnering with other Senior Managers globally to ensure daily data management responsibilities and helpdesk coverage are met and aligned with business needs. Working with the Director, technology, customers, business and systems partners, the Senior Manager will plan and prioritize operational projects and manage team efforts end-to-end. The Team The Global Data Services (GDS) team within Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) is a global, investment data management organization that specializes in the sourcing, analysis, integration, management and distribution of security, index, and portfolio data. GDS provides these data services for reference, evaluative, performance and analytical data in support of global investment decision making organizations. Data Management Operations (DMO), a division of GDS, specializes in managing, integrating and validating vendor and Fidelity-defined data associated with investment entities (securities, issues, brokers, funds, portfolios and index data).
