We are seeking a Senior Manager – Curriculum Sustainment to support FEMA Qualification System (FQS) Curriculum Sustainment. This is a remote opportunity with the potential for occasional travel to FEM Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and / or the FEMA Center in Anniston, AL. I’ve never heard of Terrestris. What do you do? So, what will the Senior Manager – Curriculum Sustainment at Terrestris do? As the Senior Manager – Curriculum Sustainment , you will manage cross-functional teams, communicate with stakeholders, and drive project objectives aligned with organizational goals. You will be responsible for the overall management of the program, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to permanently work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • A minimum of (7) years of project management experience, preferably in federal or large-scale environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and closure of large-scale or high-impact projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes; implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and supervise project team members and external partners.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders; provide regular status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, departmental, and organizational policies.
  • Monitor project performance; report on progress, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and promote collaboration.
  • Prepare and deliver project documentation and presentations.
