The Senior Credit Manager is responsible for managing a group that underwrites and monitors the credit lines of fuel products trading counterparties. This individual performs and oversees credit analysis for each counterparty and leads the credit approval process for each counterparty of Gulf Inc., and RaceTrac’s wholesale fuel subsidiary. In addition to leading the credit approval process, the Senior Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing daily reporting and forecasting on credit line utilization. This individual works to ensure that credit is provided to RaceTrac and Gulf Inc. for fuel being purchase. What You'll Do: Oversee the credit analysis and credit approval process for Metroplex counterparties Provide and develop meaningful reporting and analysis as it relates to settlements and credit. Manage the Metroplex Settlement teams ensuring inventory is reconciled and AR and AP transactions are settled accurately (both bulk and rack transactions). Ensure the team reconciles and closes inventory timely and accurately at month end. Ensure inventory transactions are accurately reflected in the financial records. Provides guidance for new or non-routine inventory transactions to ensure the financial transactions are complete and in accordance with GAAP. Ensures all payments for wholesale purchases are reviewed and approved. Helps to support the professional development of Metroplex team members Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal departments, i.e. front office, tax, and RPI accounting Perform ad-hoc assignments as needed Assists in developing solutions to financial and operational processes for inventory functions, policies and procedures Actively participates and communicates the strategic vision of the Metroplex accounting department as well as companywide initiatives. What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field 8+ years experience in wholesale fuel credit function Banking, underwriting, or commercial trade credit background preferred Proficient in Microsoft suite, specifically Excel required Commercial bulk commodities experience preferred Moody’s or other S&P credit software experience a plus Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel #Gulf Fueled by Growth, Driven by You At RaceTrac, our people make the difference.
