About The Position

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Opportunity: The Sr. Manager, Corporate FP&A will provide highly analytical and strategic financial support across RevMed including key elements of the financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes. In addition, the role will serve as the primary FP&A business partner to the Research function and support the company’s evolving financial planning needs. This position reports to the Director, Corporate FP&A and is based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience in biotech or life sciences industry.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing financial systems and other business intelligence tools; NetSuite, Adaptive Insights (including OfficeConnect) or similar Forecasting/Planning tool, and Coupa experience a plus.
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adjust workload based on changing priorities.
  • Highest standards of accuracy, precision, and attention to detail; highly organized.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.
  • Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders effectively and collaboratively work cross-functionally.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage company wide budgeting and forecasting, with a primary focus on Corporate and Research function budgets.
  • Develop and prepare ongoing financial reporting and variance analysis for Corporate budgets and investigate any major discrepancies, and understand key business drivers.
  • Partner closely with Research leadership to manage financial reporting and insights, challenging assumptions and support decision making.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong cross functional business partnerships by embedding finance into planning and operational decision-making processes.
  • Review purchase requests for budget alignment and appropriate account coding.
  • Lead continuous process improvements in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Support monthly accounting close process.
  • Lead ad hoc analyses and special projects, delivering timely, accurate and actionable financial insights.
