About The Position

The Senior Manager, Corporate Development will play a key role in identifying, evaluating and executing M&A transactions, investments and other inorganic opportunities that will accelerate DriveWealth’s mission and strategic growth priorities. The position will facilitate and lead all phases of the acquisition process. Key functions will include identification, screening, evaluation, deal structuring and negotiation, due diligence, closing and integration of transactions. This role will work closely with business unit leaders, external advisors, as well as senior management.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate development, preferably in Financial Services and/or Fintech or equivalent industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • A track record of ownership and disciplined execution in high-stakes environments
  • The ability to prioritize ruthlessly, focussing on what’s critical versus important to drive work to completion
  • A client-oriented mindset with an understanding of how your work impacts partners
  • Strength in cross-functional partnership with the judgment to coordinate across multiple teams

Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Deal Sourcing
  • Strategic Research: Conduct deep-dive industry analysis and landscape studies to identify specific M&A and partnership targets that align with DriveWealth’s global growth strategy
  • Target Pipeline Management: Maintain and prioritize a robust pipeline of potential acquisitions and investments; prepare regular updates for leadership on market movements and competitor activity
  • Deal Execution & Project Management
  • Deal Quarterback: Lead the day-to-day execution of the M&A lifecycle, serving as the primary point of contact for project timelines, and data room management
  • Diligence Coordination: Manage cross-functional workstreams across Tech, Legal, Brokerage Operations, and Finance to ensure a comprehensive and efficient evaluation
  • Transaction Support: Support the negotiation of NDAs and definitive agreements, focusing on tracking key terms and ensuring alignment with the internal investment thesis
  • Integration Support: Coordinate the transition from deal close to integration, tracking the execution of the integration plan to ensure synergies are realized
  • Post-Close Performance: Develop and track Post-Closing Performance Dashboards to measure realized synergies against the original investment thesis, ensuring our inorganic moves drive measurable ROI
  • Financial Analysis & Narratives
  • Financial Modeling: Build and own sophisticated financial models, including three-statement projections, DCF, accretion/dilution, and synergy analyses
  • Insight Synthesis: Distill complex financial and operational data into clear, concise briefing memos and slide decks for leadership and the Board
  • "Build-Buy-Partner" Analysis: Perform rigorous financial trade-off analyses to help evaluate whether to build a capability in-house or acquire it
