Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4–8 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or strategic finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A, licensing, or strategic transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, with ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Scientific literacy or background in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotech, or related fields.
  • Highly organized with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail, able to balance short-term deliverables with long-term business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial modeling and valuation for potential acquisitions, licensing deals, and strategic transactions, including DCF, IRR, NPV, and accretion/dilution analyses.
  • Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and portfolio assessments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including R&D, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, and Operations—to evaluate assets, identify risks, and optimize transaction outcomes.
  • Manage diligence workstreams, track deliverables, and summarize findings, highlighting key value drivers and risk considerations.
  • Assist in drafting investment memos, executive presentations, and governance materials for internal decision-making.
  • Support negotiation preparation by providing scenario modeling, risk analysis, and integration planning.
  • Contribute to process improvements, deal tracking, and post-deal monitoring to enhance corporate development operations.
