Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 8+ years of professional experience
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience leading negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Build Transfers (BT), and/or Development Transfers (DT).
- 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation, project development, project management, power origination, or business development roles in the energy, infrastructure, or utilities sector.
- Ability to comprehend complex documents and communicate transactional risks and project impact.
- Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership and communication skills which extend across all organizational and management levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive work
Responsibilities
- Lead the negotiation of Power Purchase (PPA), Build Transfer (BT) and Development Transfer (DT) Agreements.
- Lead coordination efforts with internal and outside counsel on the drafting and reviewing of agreements.
- Lead coordination efforts with internal development and construction teams for contracting activities for multiple projects.
- Lead coordination efforts with development, finance, engineering and other departments as it relates to contracting activities for multiple project sites.
- Assist origination team with RFP responses related to PPA, BT, and DT transactions.
