Senior Manager, Content Marketing Location: [Remote/Canada or US] Reports to: [Senior Director, Content Marketing] Pay range - $125k-$150kCAN We’re looking for a strategic and analytical Senior Manager, Content Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of high-impact content to drive awareness, demand, and growth. This role is ideal for someone who thinks in both narratives and numbers, and who equally enjoys leading people and executing complex content marketing projects. You’ll help build our editorial strategy, oversee a small team of writers/editors, build scalable processes, and partner cross-functionally to power campaigns and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally in B2B or SaaS.
  • Deep expertise in SEO strategy and content optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with marketing performance data.
  • Proven experience mentoring or managing writers.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • A strategic mindset paired with operational discipline.
  • Experience using common marketing tech, such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, AHREFS.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to building a data-driven content strategy aligned to business and pipeline goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities based on competitive analysis and performance data.
  • Ensure content supports the full funnel — from awareness to conversion.
  • Support our SEO and GEO content strategy by ensuring content is optimized and follows EEAT best practices.
  • Help define KPIs and measure content performance across traffic, engagement, rankings, and conversion.
  • Translate analytics into clear recommendations and strategic pivots.
  • Partner with marketing ops and demand gen to connect content performance to pipeline impact.
  • Continuously optimize content investments based on ROI and growth opportunity.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of writers, helping them sharpen their craft and strategic thinking.
  • Provide clear feedback, editorial direction, and professional development support.
  • Raise the bar for quality, clarity, and differentiation across all content.
  • Build scalable processes that improve consistency, speed, and impact.
