About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Commercial Platforms, is part of the Commercial Platforms & Programs team responsible for defining and executing platform strategies that support enterprise goals and enhance commercial performance. This role drives innovation, ensures governance compliance, and aligns platform capabilities with strategic objectives to deliver strong business outcomes. Key responsibilities include supporting global Commercial Performance strategies, managing existing platforms, and activating new opportunities. The position provides project support for the design, build, and execution of commercial platforms, collaborates on cross-functional teams, and ensures solutions meet stakeholder needs while leveraging leading technologies. Additional duties may include ad hoc analysis and ongoing centralized support for enterprise platforms.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
  • Expertise in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on usage results and metrics
  • Proven track record in areas like Excel VBA (required), Tableau, Power BI, Python and Snowflake

Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative and technically sound solutions to support enterprise and continent commercial goals and results.
  • Support and maintain governance frameworks to ensure platform integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver excellent work product quality, ensuring integrity and accuracy of data, coding, and output
  • Identify and evaluate appropriate data and information requirements that differ by region, brand, and system.
  • Support technical testing requirements platform projects.
  • Identify and address root issues resulting in ineffective use of platforms and tools.
  • Work as directed to centralize existing platforms and tools for global use.
  • Share best practices across all continents.
  • Work closely with Director, Commercial Platforms to support actionable recommendations and responses to optimize performance and drive growth and profitability.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as needed to support the company’s strategic imperatives.
  • Utilize advanced technical skills in the development and support of analytic tools, with expertise in data analysis and the technologies listed above.
