About The Position

The Senior Manager, Commercial Operations & Communications is a strategic, cross-functional role that helps connect commercial strategy to day-to-day execution across Hain’s North America Commercial organization. You will drive clear, consistent communication to Field Sales and broker partners and build the operating rhythms, tools, and processes that enable strong customer execution. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, RGM, Supply Chain, and leadership to translate priorities into actionable plans, ensure teams have what they need to sell and execute, and continuously improve how the Commercial organization plans, launches innovation, and communicates results. This is a highly hands-on role—you will personally build field-ready content, run key commercial operating rhythms, and drive cross-functional follow-through to ensure plans turn into on-shelf execution. While the role is strategic in scope, success depends on strong day-to-day ownership of deliverables, operating cadences, and cross-functional follow-through.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales operations, and/or commercial communications (CPG strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales operations, sales communication, or commercial operations in a CPG or related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise-level commercial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the commercial communications strategy for Field Sales and broker partners across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Translate brand, customer, and commercial priorities into clear, actionable field-ready messaging and tools.
  • Create and deploy core field-facing content (e.g., playbooks, newsletters, sell-in tools, and key business updates) that drives consistent execution.
  • Personally develop and manage core deliverables and operating cadences (field updates, playbooks, planning calendars, and launch readiness checklists) to keep the organization aligned and executing.
  • Support executive and leadership communications, including earnings-related narratives and executive-ready materials.
  • Own planning rhythms and operating calendars (e.g., brand trade releases, customer line reviews/resets, and operating model milestones) to ensure cross-functional readiness.
  • Drive accountability across Sales, Marketing, RGM, and Supply Chain by clarifying actions, owners, timelines, and risks.
  • Enable innovation commercialization by aligning priorities, timelines, item readiness, and field assets for strong customer execution.
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to align product availability to launch timing and customer commitments; escalate risks proactively.
  • Lead coordination for key customer and industry events (e.g., trade shows, sampling activations), including budget management and content readiness.
  • Build and share market/industry insights that inform smarter selling and customer engagement.
  • Ensure commercial information and tools are organized, current, and accessible; maintain high standards for data accuracy in collaboration with Master Data teams.
