ROLE SUMMARY: Senior Manager on the Commercial Forecasting Team will be working on execution planning and volume forecasting, focused on supporting the sales target setting process from top-down.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of analytical experience, with forecasting or CPG experience as a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance or a related degree preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience crafting SQL statements to query and manipulate large datasets from data warehouses.
  • Experience in exploring and manipulating data inside of Excel, R, or Python, familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake a plus.
  • Comfortable and willing to learn new skills to accomplish specific goals and tasks.
  • Comfortable developing and presenting findings to senior leaders, effective communicator and competent in PowerPoint
  • Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Support the top-down budget planning process - stewarding the narrative of targets set via commercial actions & investments and modeling how metrics should cascade across teams
  • Develop models in Excel that incorporate incoming performance and unique impacts to the planning cycle
  • Create supporting material for Commercial leadership to gain alignment on key decisions throughout the process
  • Work cross-functionally to answer key questions and present alignment across teams (Commercial Finance & Planning, FP&A, Rev Man, Brand Teams)
  • Present findings to Commercial Leadership and take feedback to iterate
  • Areas of work are Sales Volume, Market Share, Industry Volume, Sales Execution (Distribution, Rate of Sale, Display, Space)
