About The Position

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations lead to join the Commercial and Medical IS department in preparation for Revolution Medicine’s first Commercial Launch. The ideal candidate will be flexible and agile, capable of filling gaps, creating processes, bringing teams together, and ensuring activities are pulled through to meet plans and objectives. This role involves a variety of tasks including leading internal projects and processes, budgeting and financial tracking, managing invoices and contracts, overseeing document repositories and team collaboration tools, assisting with meeting agendas, notes, and action items, and supporting project and portfolio management activities. Additionally, the candidate will help with creating and editing slides for presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an operations, project management, or administration role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with software development life cycle and related project management principles and project management tools (i.e. Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project)
  • Experience with effective management and employment of collaboration tools (i.e. MS Teams, Slack, Coda).
  • Experience with Document Management tools (i.e. MS Teams, Sharepoint, Egnyte).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with contract management and purchase orders.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and consultants.
  • Exceptional customer service. Acts with urgency and passion and has a zeal towards delighting customers and realizing continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 12 years operations and project management experience and 6 years in the context of technology services and support.
  • Experience in pharma/life sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Create, lead, and manage internal projects and processes to ensure seamless delivery of services to our internal customers (Intake, development cycles, SLAs, etc.).
  • Own budgeting and financial tracking processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Manage invoices and contracts, including tracking payments and maintaining records.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of team document repositories.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take notes during meetings, and follow up on action items.
  • Create and edit slides for team presentations and other visual materials.
  • Support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating project tasks.
  • Monitor project progress as needed and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and necessary change management activities are executed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.
  • Employ enterprise thinking in collaborating with vendors and consultants to establish and optimize information systems.
  • Demonstrate and foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the Information Sciences Planning and Management teams as well as operations teams in Commercial and Medical Affairs globally.
