Information Systems Senior Manager

About The Position

An experienced Information Systems Senior Manager to provide day-to-day technical leadership of information technology, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives across the organization. This role serves as the central point for IT systems, software, cybersecurity, and infrastructure planning while coordinating closely with engineering programs and external partners as needed.

Requirements

Provide advanced support of a diverse array of operating systems across platforms: Linux (Debian-based and RHEL-based distributions), macOS, and Windows
Create interoperability between different operating system architectures within the corporate and I&T application boundaries
Understanding of various networking technologies and the ability to provide logical network implementations, including routing, switching, access-control, and LAN/VLAN/WLAN methodologies
Understanding scripting languages (BASH/Shell/YAML) and development of scripts consistent with automation processes
The ability to develop Ansible roles and playbooks and submit them to source control for review and subsequent release into host configuration deployments
Advanced hardware and network troubleshooting and resolution
Knowledge of cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure (Azure Active Directory) and Amazon Web Services (EC2, ECS, EKS, ECR, RDS, SES, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
Knowledge of IdP/SAML integration
Fundamental and conceptual knowledge of virtualization, containerization, micro-services, and IaaS / PaaS / SaaS services, and the ability to integrate these service types into corporate and I&T processes
Understanding of continuous integration/delivery and source control services, support, and deployment
The ability to troubleshoot software and OS issues through data aggregation and log review
Coordination of project activities and work for engineering programs
The ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, including providing and ratifying documented and accepted processes as part of security plan operating procedures
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in System Administration, DevOps, cloud, and network support
CompTIA Security+ certification and the ability to maintain DoD 8570.01 IAT/IAM certification
The ability to hold and maintain a security clearance
To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day technical and leadership of information technology, engineering, and infrastructure initiatives within the organization
Provide technical advice and administration for all company IT resources and software accounts
Provides overall permission set-up for all IT based resources
Serves as central point for all IT related systems and software for the workforce
Oversees troubleshooting of equipment and access failures
Coordinates and manages all assets including procurement, records, and future planning
May lead or participate in identification, evaluation and recommendations on IT based solutions and vendors
Engages external resources as necessary for more complex architecture-based activities
Responsible for implementing and ensuring cyber security systems are in place to protect all Quantum Space computer, devices, software, and related IT systems
Develop overarching architecture and implement software, hardware systems necessary for efficient business operations throughout Quantum Space
