About The Position

The Senior Manager, Business Operations, reports to the Business Operations Lead for Pfizer Global Hospital & Biosimilars (GH&B) and provides day-to-day operational support to maximize the effectiveness of the global organization. Specifically, this role will be responsible for supporting communication and colleague engagement strategies that build morale, promote desired colleague mindsets and behaviors, and drive engagement. It also includes owning digital communications tools and channels that support the needs of the organization and its leaders, as well as driving key recognition, engagement, governance, and cultural initiatives globally. The colleague will work collaboratively with and seek input from cross-functional team members such as members of the GH&B leadership team, business operations peers, manufacturing, legal, and others.

Requirements

  • Minimum required: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, English, social sciences, business/economics, healthcare/pre-med, or related fields
  • 7 years experience in commercial/marketing, manufacturing, communications, HR/Px, or business operations, preferably in complex, global, regulated, or science-driven environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead key initiatives and programs related to GH&B internal colleague engagement (e.g., recognition, leader engagement, communication, etc.), including driving planning, content development, and execution.
  • Manage and optimize global Sharepoint, Viva Engage, OnMessage, group mailboxes, and related internal channels in support of GH&B priorities.
  • Assist in the development of slide content, videos and leadership talking points for internal meetings.
  • Ensure organizational changes, content, etc. are communicated regularly and/or in a timely manner across GH&B forums and to functional GH&B business operations colleagues.
  • Maintain a system to capture recognition and drive participation in internal programs to recognize and reward performance and achievements.
  • Support GH&B meeting and governance needs on an ad-hoc basis, such as action and metrics tracking, logistics planning for internal meetings/visits, etc.
  • Support maintenance of GH&B externally-facing narrative, key messages, fact base, and supporting resources (e.g., walking decks, message guides, etc.)
  • Draft internal and external leader communications (e.g., social posts, talking points, etc.), review metrics and develop optimization strategies
  • Support meeting planning and communication needs of key functions in partnership with business operations leaders, including functional town halls, organizational announcements, and related needs.
  • Serve as a key point of integration across GH&B functions related to communication, colleague engagement, and business operations functions, in particular identifying and advancing opportunities for improved alignment and best practice sharing across functions
  • Represent the function professionally and effectively in cross-functional forums.
