About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager in Berkeley, MO to support the BGS-G business. The individual will lead employees performing Business Operations activities for Government Services. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Leverage knowledge and experience to transform Government Services operating model through systems, tools and process improvements. Maintain and continuous improvement of management systems. Drive process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Ensure consistent management system processes and tools are used. Manage, develop and motivate employees. Partner with key stakeholders to manage and support special projects that help drive operational efficiency for Government Services. Position Responsibilities: Duties will include (but are not limited to): Serve as a strategic partner to Government Services leaders to drive organizational efficiency and operational excellence through efficient use of systems, tools and processes Drive utilization of processes and tools to enhance digital literacy of organization with a goal of driving towards digital proficiency Guide and facilitate the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, processes, and metrics to track progress to and enable attainment of business goals Drive new ways of working that motivate and engage a mobile, technologically fluent, globally distributed workforce Lead team in driving Agile mindset to ensure a focus and finish mentality for key projects/initiatives Collect, organize, and visualize data into insights, with the use of digital tools within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and stakeholder commitments Provide coaching, guidance and development opportunities to team members Partner with Government Services Leadership on special projects (e.g. On-Time Delivery, Functional integration) Maintain BGS/BDS execution scorecards, program execution dashboard(s), and Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) scoring Drive improvements to operational health of the Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management system to ensure execution of mitigation planning

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience performing in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing the development and integration of business plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
  • 5+ years of experience architecting business transformation or optimization projects
  • 3+ years of experience leading geographically dispersed teams
  • 3+ years of experience directly supporting and improving operational health & performance of a program and/or organization
  • Experience in team building, leading cross-functional teams, motivating and engaging team member, and inspiring work groups through daily interactions
