About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The Kuiper team is looking for a Business Operations leader to support business and engineering stakeholders in selecting, developing and managing business relationships with critical technology and service suppliers, and others as needed to execute on Kuiper objectives. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record developing and executing strategy, and managing supplier performance. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be an advantage. The base pay for this position ranges from $175,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $302,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Requirements

  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • 7+ years of technical program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

Responsibilities

  • Be the Leader for ASIC Global Business Operations. Develops operations models and oversees supply chain, sales orders and inventory management.
  • Develop a team of Business Operations Managers responsible for supply and demand planning, inventory management, material allocations, sales orders, and fulfillment.
  • Lead cross-functional Initiatives to establish wafer and ASIC supply chain process and overall structure of the business.
  • Leading supply chain and inventory management, setting goals, and strategic directions, and driving automation and process improvements.
  • Lead and drive operational collaboration with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Provide leadership on project selection, scope, definition and performance to ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Train team members on new processes and ensure effective communication of change.
