About The Position

The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence leads the day-to-day operations of the
business intelligence team. Functions under the direction of the Director of
Analytics to supervise and mentor team members to continuously improve
implementation and maintenance of Business Intelligence tools and processes.

The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence works alongside team members to design
and create data structures, reports, dashboards, and related data extracts from
various data sources, including Eagle, Epic and internal Data warehouse system

Oversees the analytics request pool; providing updates, setting priority and
establishing user expectations. Other tasks may include providing demos and
training of end users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, statistics, information systems, or similar technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience with Epic clinical or health care financial data and reporting
• 5+ years of Experience navigating hospital or practice EMRs
• Experience with none Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Sisense etc)
• Epic clinical or revenue cycle certification (or ability to get certified after employment)
• Epic Cogito certification (or ability to get certified after employment)
• Proficient in SQL, TSQL and enterprise business intelligence tools.
• Team oriented, possess good leadership qualities, have strong customer service, communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent leadership and team building skills
• Excellent decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on communication, detail, and follow-up.

Responsibilities
