The Senior Manager, Business Development & Strategy – OE is responsible for shaping and executing strategies that maximize market share, profitability, and ROI for the Americas Consumer OE business. This role provides ownership of business development initiatives, driving growth through innovative strategies and strong customer partnerships. The incumbent will lead cross-functional projects, direct research and analysis of new business opportunities, and make strategic recommendations to expand Goodyear’s presence with existing and new OE accounts. Acting as a primary driver of growth, this position will spearhead revenue-generating initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. In collaboration with Consumer OE leadership, the Senior Manager will own the development of key account strategies, manage contract negotiations, and guide compliance and product development processes. This role requires building and maintaining executive-level relationships with OE customers, influencing decisions, and positioning Goodyear as a preferred partner. The incumbent will also lead internal alignment efforts, ensuring capacity and capability requirements are met while driving priorities across teams. Own the development and execution of growth strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue and margin targets across key segments. Direct market intelligence efforts—analyzing trends, competitors, and customer insights—to shape data-driven strategies and influence leadership on resource allocation. Drive cross-functional alignment to prioritize high-potential accounts ensuring sustainable growth. Drive growth within assigned OE accounts by evaluating sales potential, developing and executing strategies to achieve market share, revenue, and profit targets. Build strategic partnerships within OEM purchasing, engineering, and cross functional areas to unlock new opportunities. Represent the company at key industry events to strengthen brand presence while ensuring cross-team accountability for plan execution and KPI performance. Lead cross-functional alignment among key internal teams—product development, category management, finance, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain—to ensure customer requirements are understood and prioritized. Provide strategic oversight for engineering approvals and production capacity, acting as the primary escalation point to resolve conflicts and remove execution barriers. Foster collaboration and transparency to drive shared objectives that protect and grow market share. Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure profitability while aligning business development initiatives with organizational goals. Monitor KPIs closely and implement corrective actions to drive performance and achieve strategic objectives. Support developing the OE NA Consumer Strategy and ensure alignment with other global OE Consumer regions. Define new OEM target customers that align with NA and Global growth initiatives. Interface with other OE Consumer Strategy team members to share best practices and lessons learned.
