About The Position

Equinox is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships to lead the development and activation of strategic brand collaborations that elevate the member experience and drive measurable business impact. This role is responsible for bringing partnerships to life in a 360-degree way — across digital channels, in-club experiences, and out-of-club touchpoints — ensuring each collaboration feels premium, intentional, and deeply aligned with the Equinox brand. While this role includes partner sourcing, the majority of the scope is focused on activation, execution, and performance management. This is an opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented operator who understands how to translate strong ideas into seamless, high-quality experiences that resonate with members and support business goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in brand partnerships, brand marketing, or integrated marketing
  • Experience within hospitality, travel, fitness, wellness, or luxury strongly preferred
  • MBA preferred; equivalent experience strongly considered
  • Strong creative instincts paired with a clear understanding of business objectives and performance metrics
  • Deeply member-experience oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality, differentiated experiences
  • Demonstrated experience working with paid media valuation, rate cards, and third-party contract negotiations
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
  • Experience working with external agencies and senior partner stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Partnership Strategy & Sourcing (≈10%)
  • Identify and evaluate potential brand partners across hospitality, wellness, fitness, travel, fashion, and lifestyle
  • Build and maintain a focused pipeline of partnership opportunities aligned to brand values and member needs
  • Assess partnership opportunities through both brand and business lenses, including relevance, scale, and member value
  • Partnership Activation & Experience Execution (≈70%)
  • Lead end-to-end partnership activation from concept development through launch and post-launch optimization
  • Develop creative partnership concepts that translate into meaningful member experiences — not just logo placements
  • Bring partnerships to life across digital, in-club, and out-of-club channels, including:
  • Member communications and content
  • In-club experiences, activations, and programming
  • Events, experiential moments, and external-facing extensions
  • Own activation planning, timelines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Brand, Marketing, Club Operations, Merchandising, Legal, Finance, and Product to ensure cohesive execution
  • Manage external agencies and partner teams to deliver against creative, operational, and brand standards
  • Commercial Management, Measurement & Optimization (≈20%)
  • Support deal structuring and contract negotiations in partnership with Legal and Finance
  • Understand and evaluate paid media value, rate cards, and in-kind value exchange
  • Define success metrics for each partnership, including engagement, revenue, retention, and NPS impact
  • Track partner-funded value, offsets, and ROI
  • Lead post-launch retrospectives and apply learnings to continuously improve future partnerships
