Senior Manager, Automation Engineering- Fulfillment Design

WalmartBentonville, AR
$110,000 - $220,000

About The Position

As Senior Manager, Automation Engineering – Fulfillment Design, you will lead the design and delivery of large-scale automation solutions that shape the future of Walmart fulfillment. This role is not just about engineering systems—it is about turning network strategy into executable, high-impact capital projects across fulfillment centers and inbound consolidation centers. You will take asset plans and translate them into practical, scalable building and automation solutions. Working across real estate, construction, finance, strategy, operations, and external automation vendors, you will help determine the right facilities, develop automation concepts, build investment proposals, and drive projects through capital approval—often for multimillion dollar capitol initiatives. Once approved, you will remain closely involved through detailed design, implementation, and go-live to ensure each solution performs as intended. This is a highly visible, fluid role with end-to-end ownership across the project lifecycle. It is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can influence across functions, and wants to leave a lasting mark on the fulfillment network.
