We are seeking a Senior Manager, AI Program Management to serve as a key operational leader within the EisnerAI initiative, reporting to the AI Program Management Director. This role will independently manage the program's operational cadence, including budget oversight, portfolio performance reporting, governance forum execution, vendor management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong program management experience in a consulting, technology, or professional services environment and is comfortable exercising independent judgment, driving accountability across senior stakeholders, and translating program data into executive-ready insights. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years in program management, project management, or a related operational leadership role with direct experience managing AI, data, or technology-driven programs or portfolios; professional services or consulting environment strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage multi-million dollar program budgets, perform variance analysis, and translate financial data into executive-level insights and recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel and data fluency, including the ability to build budget models, reconcile financial data across multiple sources, and produce accurate summaries from complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies; PMP or relevant AI/technology certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and a track record of producing executive-quality presentations, dashboards, and board-level materials with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Planner, SharePoint) and experience with project management or collaboration platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple senior stakeholders, drive accountability on action items, and operate with a high degree of independence in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex program information into clear, concise, audience-appropriate narratives for executive and board-level audiences.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including SOW oversight, deliverable tracking, and contract administration in a technology or consulting context.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in enterprise or professional services environments.
  • Experience coordinating across time zones and managing workflows with distributed or offshore teams.
  • Advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly program reporting cycle end-to-end, including data collection, portfolio dashboard production, variance analysis, and delivery of executive-ready summaries to senior leadership.
  • Own and continuously improve program tracking tools and processes (e.g., project management exports, status trackers, milestone logs), proactively identifying gaps in data quality, timeliness, or coverage.
  • Analyze program-level KPIs and metrics, synthesizing trends and insights into visualizations and narratives that support executive briefings, steering committee readouts, and board materials.
  • Manage program documentation standards, including decision logs, action item trackers, and meeting records, ensuring organizational knowledge capture and continuity across all active workstreams.
  • Manage monthly budget-to-actuals reconciliation across all program spend categories, analyzing variances, identifying trends, and presenting findings with recommendations to leadership.
  • Oversee vendor operations including SOW tracking, deliverable accountability, invoice validation, and renewal management, serving as a key operational point of contact for finance and procurement coordination.
  • Manage license and subscription inventories for AI tools and platforms, analyzing usage patterns and cost trends to inform renewal decisions, optimization opportunities, and budget forecasting.
  • Drive the full lifecycle of recurring executive and stakeholder forums, including agenda development, material preparation, facilitation support, and post-meeting follow-through with direct accountability for action item closure.
  • Develop materials for internal and external stakeholder meetings, including program highlights, executive summaries, and status updates for vendor and partner engagements, with minimal direction required.
  • Manage the coordination cadence with internal infrastructure and IT teams, including service request prioritization and tracking to remove blockers for AI development projects.
  • Manage hiring and staffing pipeline operations, including onboarding timeline management for domestic and international positions.
  • Lead resource planning activities by maintaining team capacity views, forecasting staffing needs, and tracking open roles, start dates, and backfill requirements to support informed workforce decisions across the AI program.
