About The Position

Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position. The Brokerage Risk team advises Fidelity’s dynamic individual investor businesses building lifetime relationships with self-directed clients and helping them save and invest. This is an individual contributor role, supporting the Digital business unit within the Brokerage organization. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting critical components of our risk program including risk assessments, incident and issue management, and key risk initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, legal, or a related control function
  • Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, risk taxonomies, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and analyze complex, ambiguous business and risk issues
  • Experience advising senior leaders and influencing outcomes without direct authority
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, compelling presentations and risk insights to senior leadership
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience creating executive-ready reporting and dashboards
  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on operational and emerging risks, including risks associated with AI-enabled products, platforms, and new capabilities
  • Lead end-to-end risk assessments, from risk identification and evaluation through control design, monitoring, and reporting
  • Investigate incidents and issues, determine root cause, assess impact, and provide clear, actionable recommendations for remediation
  • Design, maintain, and monitor key risk indicators to assess the ongoing risk profile of the Digital business
  • Collaborate with partners across the risk, legal, compliance, fraud, and technology teams
