About The Position

LeadVenture is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Accounting to join our organization! This individual will help continue to fuel our success as an accounting organization as we grow organically and through many acquisitions. You will take your expertise in the accounting field and people management skills and use it to drive continued process improvement and acceleration across all areas of the accounting organization. Your primary focus will be on financial reporting, managing the close process, GL oversight, analytics, debt covenant reporting, lead on our annual audit, managing stock compensation, and much more. Here is more of what you’ll get to do: Manage the monthly close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, review journal entries, reconciliations, consolidating and reviewing flux commentary for global operations Review monthly GAAP financial statements Review quarterly bank reporting requirements Oversee GL, AP, commissions, and foreign accounting teams ensuring team success Manage corporate bonus calculations and payouts Participate in business integrations Provide support to HR and payroll functions as finance liaison Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal teams to ensure successful audit results and compliance Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies and procedures to align with operational strategies, including change management Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices Supervise and manage a team of Accountants, Senior Accountants, and Mangers to support the Controller in ensuring the team is motivated and has proper support

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required)
At least 8 years of accounting experience
At least 3 years’ experience managing people
Highly effective team management
Strong understanding of accounting theory and US GAAP
Organized approach with a strong attention to detail, self-starter
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Public accounting background preferred
Experience in SaaS and software industry
CPA preferred
NetSuite experience a plus

Responsibilities
