About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager 2, Accounting Transformation – Technology, Data, Digital & Innovation (TDDI). This role is responsible for leading end-to-end accounting transformation initiatives that support the organization’s transition to a more scalable, efficient, and transparent financial operating model. The role will oversee the design, implementation, and stabilization of cost structures, accounting processes, and allocation methodologies, while ensuring the seamless onboarding of new teams and expenses into the TDDI organization. The Senior Manager will partner closely with Accounting Operations, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve structural issues, standardize processes, and ultimately transition mature processes into steady-state ownership. This is a U.S.-based remote position, with occasional travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
  • 7–10+ years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, or process improvement
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives from concept through execution
  • Strong expertise in accounting structures, allocations, and financial process design
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear actions
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 3 years

  • Experience supporting Technology / Digital organizations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end accounting transformation initiatives, from initial scoping through stabilization and handoff
  • Design and implement scalable cost structures, including cost centers, account hierarchies, and reporting frameworks
  • Develop and operationalize allocation methodologies to improve cost transparency and accuracy
  • Standardize and optimize end-to-end accounting processes, driving consistency and efficiency across TDDI
  • Onboard new teams, expenses, and payroll structures into the TDDI financial model
  • Identify and resolve structural inefficiencies (e.g., duplicative allocations, inconsistent processes)
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting Operations, Finance, HR, and Technology teams to align design and execution
  • Transition mature processes to steady-state ownership within Accounting Operations and Finance
