Overview We are seeking a high‑potential Operations Finance Manager to support both our Batavia, OH (Founders Blvd.) manufacturing site and our global operations organization. This role is ideal for a finance and accounting professional who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys partnering with operations leaders, and is eager to help shape global processes and performance management. The position will split responsibilities between site‑level and global operations finance support, working directly with the VP of Operations for IML, plant general managers, functional leaders, and the global finance team. The role also serves as a key bridge between site operations, IML FP&A, and corporate FP&A. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a solid grounding in manufacturing finance and cost accounting, and a desire to help shape systems, processes, and performance management across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA/CMA or advanced degree a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations finance, cost accounting, and/or manufacturing FP&A
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing costing and ERP/manufacturing systems
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operations leaders and influence outcomes without formal authority
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across site‑level and global responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner for the Batavia (Founders Blvd.) manufacturing site
  • Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, cost reviews, variance analysis, and inventory accounting
  • Prepare monthly operating decks with clear insights, trends, and actionable recommendations
  • Conduct weekly performance check‑ins to monitor KPIs, identify risks/opportunities, and support operational decision‑making
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, labor efficiency, waste, freight optimization, and production metrics
  • Ensure robust financial controls across inventory, production reporting, and cost flows
  • Lead the development of the annual site budget and support periodic forecasts
  • Provide support for accounts payable, vendor payments, and invoicing accuracy
  • Partner with the VP Operations and global site leaders to support performance management and strategic initiatives
  • Support global KPI reporting, benchmarking, and operational analytics across all sites
  • Assist with the consolidation of global results and performance narratives
  • Partner closely with IML FP&A to support monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual plan
  • Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and capital expenditure business cases
  • Contribute to standardization of financial processes, reporting frameworks, and tools globally
  • Support global productivity, cost‑optimization, and operational excellence projects
  • Consolidate financial data across multiple ERPs, regions, and currencies
  • Leverage BI and other tools to enhance reporting and analytics and improve or automate processes
  • Participation in S&OP process to support demand, supply, and production planning
  • Conduct manufacturing and logistics cost analysis to support network optimization
  • Ad hoc reporting and other requests as needed for the business, corporate, or shared services
  • Participate in ERP implementation, including design discussions, testing, validation, and post‑go‑live stabilization
  • Evaluate current‑state processes and identify gaps or improvement opportunities related to costing, inventory, and manufacturing workflows
  • Help ensure accurate cost structures, data integrity, and alignment between operations and finance systems
