About The Position

GXM is seeking to hire a Senior Management Analyst to lead management analysis activities in support of Naval development programs. The selected candidate will work closely with development teams and program stakeholders to ensure software and system requirements are properly analyzed and supported across multiple projects. The Senior Management Analyst will develop, manage, and present program impact briefs and analytical papers for a U.S. Navy major weapon system in support of product development. The candidate will lead the review and analysis of system requirements and identify operational impacts to applicable requirements and design specifications. This is a full-time, exempt position that may be performed remotely, with short-term travel to Virginia locations as required by the project. This position will be based out of Fredericksburg, VA with occasional travel to Dahlgren, VA. About GXM GXM is a team of creative professionals focused on solving problems for end users. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess an active, verifiable Department of War Secret Clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers and engineering personnel
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis
  • Prior U.S. Navy experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively disseminate information verbally and in writing
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Nice To Haves

  • Additional experience supporting Naval or Department of War acquisition or development programs
  • Master’s degree in business or technical field
  • Prior experience with US Naval fire control systems demonstrated by active-duty service

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and present program impact briefs and analytical papers supporting a U.S. Navy Major Weapon System
  • Review and analyze system requirements and identify operational impacts to requirements and design specifications
  • Support product development efforts by coordinating with engineering and development teams
  • Develop support requirements and associate documentation for major DoD weapon systems utilizing GOTS and COTS products
  • Support development of products and embedded help/training for weapons, combat, and fire control systems
  • Communicate findings, impacts, and recommendations clearly to customers and engineering personnel
