Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 5 years of demonstrated capacity in cultivating, soliciting and closing planned and major gifts to achieve goals Demonstrated ability in working with gift planning vehicles and complex assets including gift annuities, CRTs, securities, IRSAs, endowments, insurance and real estate Demonstrated ability to make public presentation Confidentiality Demonstrated success in working as a member of a team and developing effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, donors and others in the Development and External Relations process Demonstrated competency in writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication Demonstrated competency with relational databases, Microsoft Office products, electronic donor information and tracking systems Demonstrated track record with respect to detail orientation and accuracy Travel, evening, weekend and flexible work schedule as required Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in related profession Campaign experience and results Fundraising experience in higher education Graduate of St. Catherine University
