Senior Maintenance Technician Preventative Maintenance (40%) Perform routine tasks such as greasing bearings, changing belts, changing oil, performing inspections, cleaning equipment, etc to maintain equipment reliability. Support production workers during routine preventative maintenance activities; (TPM). Identify key preventative tasks and implement them into company CMMS, to increase machine reliability. Optimize machine cycle times to maximize machine output. Equipment Repair (25%) Install, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment. Dismantle machinery to remove or replace defective parts. Optimize use of maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies needed to repair equipment to OEM standards. Repair facility and building items as needed. Equipment Troubleshooting (25%) Identify complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic problems on production machinery and facility equipment. Locates sources of problems by observing machinery in operation. Utilize tools to isolate malfunctioning equipment (ex. Multimeter, tachometer, calipers, etc.). Maximize machine output by optimizing machine cycle times. Administrative (10%) Log all work performed into the Company CMMS. Complete end of shift reports communicating between maintenance and production departments. Order replacement parts for stock or parts for repair. Work with other departments to schedule downtime for repairs. Performing housekeeping, making sure area is clean at all times.
