About The Position

The Senior Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of plant maintenance operations. This role focuses on long-term equipment reliability, advanced troubleshooting, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Supervisor manages and develops a team of maintenance technicians, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and partners with production and engineering teams to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in maintenance supervision in a manufacturing environment or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with CMMS and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related issues across departments.
  • Provide advanced technical guidance and decision-making support during complex troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems, ensuring rapid resolution of critical plant issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend upgrades, modifications, or replacements of equipment to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Ensure proper use of CMMS for work order management, asset tracking, and reporting.
  • costs, improve energy efficiency, and optimize spare parts inventory.
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on process improvements, reliability engineering, and lean maintenance practices.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Manager and Engineering teams to plan and execute capital improvement projects.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned, with a focus on advancing maintenance excellence and supporting organizational growth.
