Requirements
- Valid Illinois license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience in a long-term care environment (preferred)
- Graduate Registered Nurse (GRN) considered if licensure is obtained within 45 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents
- Plan, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control standards
- Remain calm and effective during emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and assist in problem-solving
- Foster a respectful, resident-centered environment
