About The Position

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a highly regarded law firm to identify a Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist for its Atlanta office. This is a critical, senior-level role for a docketing professional who understands that court deadlines are non-negotiable and precision matters. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in litigation calendaring, strong familiarity with rule-based docketing platforms, and a proven ability to support high-volume litigation teams across multiple jurisdictions. This opportunity is best suited for someone with law firm longevity, exceptional attention to detail, and confidence serving as a go-to resource for docketing accuracy, court rule compliance, and internal training.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of direct litigation docketing experience within a law firm environment
  • Hands-on proficiency with Aderant CompuLaw or a similar rule-based docketing system (CourtAlert, eDockets, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules and litigation procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex filings and extract enforceable deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Prior experience mentoring, training, or serving as a lead resource within a docketing team
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Atlanta, GA
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship now or in the future)
  • Comfort with the stated compensation range of $75,000 – $85,000

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-jurisdiction docketing experience supporting national litigation practices
  • Background developing internal training guides, desk manuals, or reference tools
  • Experience assisting with firm-wide calendaring process improvements
  • Familiarity with additional litigation support technologies and document management systems

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing litigation documents to identify critical filing dates, hearing schedules, and procedural deadlines
  • Creating, updating, and auditing docket entries within Aderant CompuLaw (or a comparable rule-based calendaring system)
  • Manually calculating deadlines when rules require independent interpretation across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
  • Monitoring docket integrity and generating deadline reports for attorneys and litigation teams
  • Researching and tracking ongoing updates to court rules and procedural changes
  • Acting as a senior resource to support best practices and consistency across the docketing function
  • Mentoring junior docketing staff and assisting with internal training materials and documentation
  • Collaborating directly with attorneys, court personnel, and administrative teams to resolve docketing-related inquiries
  • Supporting the Docketing Manager with special projects, workflow improvements, and firm-wide initiatives
